Hotel Workers Rising Kickoff Tour
Earlier this year, hotel workers across the U.S. and Canada came together to launch our exciting campaign. Senator John Edwards, actor Danny Glover, and San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom helped kick up the volume. The video, produced by David Koff, presents highlights of the February 2006 launch tour. Hotel workers talk of their struggle for better conditions and how UNITE HERE has inspired them to stand up for their rights. One says, “We are humble hotel workers, we work hard for a living, but we have friends in high places.” Watch the video
