1/5/2010 Hotel Workers Struggle for Justice in San Francisco

In August of 2009, union contracts expired for over 9000 hotel workers in San Francisco. Since then hotel workers have been standing together to defend their healthcare and retirement standards.

If you are planning to travel to San Francisco, please do not stay at a hotel subject to a labor dispute. Hotels involved in labor disputes with their employees may be affected by strikes, lock-outs, pickets and boycotts.

Currently in San Francisco, several hotels are involved in disputes and have already been subject to picket-lines, employee walk-outs and large rallies.
